Commissioner Bill Valentine was a guest on the Dave Norman Program this morning to comment on the primary election. Valentine was not re-elected with Jake Shade, Creade Brodie Jr., and Dave Caporale the top three vote-getters. Valentine commented that after last night, he is looking forward to retirement.
When asked about Jake Shade's comments on a more cooperative group last night during the election coverage on WCBC, Valentine pointed to contention between he and Shade dating back to the negotiations with Delfest:
