Democrats Remain Undecided in Maryland Gubernatorial Primary

A Maryland poll shows Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker III with a sizable lead over other candidates in the state’s crowded Democratic gubernatorial primary, but a large proportion of voters remain undecided.  The survey from Gonzales Research & Media Services showed that 24 percent of likely Democratic voters support Baker, placing him 10 points above both of his nearest competitors, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and former NAACP president Ben Jealous. One of the key campaign issues, Baker says, will be crime and each candidates approach to the problem.
