WCBC received a tip this morning that there had been a threat investigation involving Mountain Ridge High School. ACPS released the following statement after we contacted them:
Late last night, the Frostburg School Resource Officer received a tip that there may be a threat against Mountain Ridge High School.
This was immediately investigated over night by Frostburg City Police, and the threat was deemed to be non-credible.
There was no danger to students or staff, but as a precaution, there was additional police presence at the school this morning.
