May 4th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

Under the plan announced last week by Governor Jim Justice- the  mandatory stay-at-home order has ended- and as of today phase two of a six part plan to re-open West Virginia’s economy has begun. Part two is known as  safer-at-home and is encouraging  people to voluntarily stay home, or work remotely. With more people out and about the Governor says continued social distancing, and the use of protective equipment will be critical. State health officials say as of yesterday, the number of Coronavirus cases in West Virginia may have peaked.  Justice said that while the health and safety of the citizens remains his primary concern- it is time for West Virginian’s to re-open for business…

The health and safety of citizens does not seem to be uppermost on the Governor’s mind.
