Western Maryland Railroad Reporting Another Increase in Ridership

The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad is reporting another solid year with a strong increase in ridership once again.  Michael Gresham, is getting ready for this third year as general manager and chief operating officer. While he anticipates 2015 being another strong year, much of his focus is a year out when the current steam engine is retired. Replacing it will be  a 66-year-old steam locomotive obtained from the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore. Looking back at 2014, Gresham described it as another strong year with the train continuing to serve as a major tourist attractions in the region…
