As MD Foster Care Expands, Older Kids Face Long Odds of Adoption

Maryland expanded foster care capacity statewide this year, but child advocates note many older children continue struggle to find a lifelong home.  By age 10, the likelihood of a child being adopted falls by 50%.  Nationally, there are more than 100,000 adoption-eligible kids in foster care.
