“The most pivotal person in the history of the world, but also the most controversial. He took on the religious people, and the religious people crucified him. They couldn’t do it so they got the Roman government to do it. He gave his life. The Bible says that he laid down his life for us so we could be forgiven. So that our sins could be forgiven, so we could receive God’s grace and God’s mercy. And had he not been born, that wouldn’t have happened.”
