The Mayor and City Council recognized Cumberland Economic Development’s Stu Czapski’s five-year career millstone as Economic Development Specialist during Tuesday’s council meeting.  Executive Director, Matt Miller said Czapski has made a lasting impact on the community…

“Over the past five years, Stu has been a steady presence, a sounding board, a mentor, a constant advocate for Cumberland’s economic future.  He approaches his work with integrity, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility to the community he calls home.”

Miller was then recognized for his 10 years of dedication to the CEDC, and Mayor Ray Morriss said the revitalization of Baltimore Street is to show for his efforts…

“The leadership he has shown for our community to help economic development, the work that the CEDC did in the promotion of the Baltimore Street revitalization was critical, and we’re looking forward to another ten years with Matt and another five years with Stu.”
