The City of Cumberland held their second meeting on Virginia Avenue’s revitalization with a walkabout of the area. Main Street Manger Melinda Kelleher along with other city officials and almost a dozen area residents walked the avenue to pin point areas of focus. “A little bodega market. A couple of new small restaurants that would have just walk-up windows, that kind of thing – simple things. And then the other concern that people shared is just cleaning things up. So, improving the facades, cleaning up trash, things like that.”
