Allegany County Commissioners ratified 13 more projects at a total of $706,000 during Thursday’s meeting, making the current, out-of-pocket total $7.1 million. One of the projects presented last night was the Braddock Run sewer job which was itself nearly half a million dollars. Commissioner David Caporale asked Adam Patterson, Director of Public Works, if MDE stepped in with this specific project since it was more so environmentally involved. Patterson said they haven’t, but he is looking toward conversations in the near future…
“This one here that had a compromised sewer where we were bypassing sewer for 90 days at the tune of about $1,000 of fuel a day to pump. I’m hopeful in January we get a chance to speak to them that we can get something worked out.”
