Allegany County leaders have set a date for the long-awaited “force of Four” meeting with the public regarding the current and future state of the Bel Air water system. The meeting is planned for Thursday, October 16th at 5pm in the multipurpose building at the county fairgrounds. County Administrator Jason Bennett says invitations have been extended to those that may lend help with the high water rates…

 

“We have invited members of our state delegation, our federal delegation and we have invited folks from American Water themselves, and I’m happy to report they’ve already kind of come back and said they feel they’re gonna be there. I think we’ll have what the citizens have asked for, and we’ll be putting something out officially here in the next probably week or two.”
