A design has been selected to complete Route 219 to the Maryland line from Pennsylvania. The design consists of a four-lane roadway in a new location to the east of existing US Route 219 and bypassing Salisbury, Pennsylvania. The decision was made following analysis of impacts on the environment, comments received from the public, and input from resource agencies. The public has through the first week of July to make comments on the proposed route.
