On Sunday, January 4, 2026, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department were conducting routine patrols, resulting in several arrests related to drug offences. Officers observed a traffic infraction on Greene Street and conducted a traffic stop. A K9 free air scan was completed on the vehicle, which resulted in a positive alert. A quantity of controlled dangerous substances and paraphernalia were located in a search of the vehicle. As a result, Arlie Lease Jr was placed under arrest and later released on criminal and traffic citations. Michael Lee was placed under arrest and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he awaits his initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

ARRESTED: Amber Elizabeth Carrington  AGE: 30       Lavale, Maryland
CHARGE: CDS Possession not Marijuana
