Changes are coming to freshwater fishing license and trout stamp fees in Maryland. The rising costs of maintaining conservation efforts and angler programs has forces the first rate adjustment in almost 20 years.  The price of freshwater fishing licenses has not changed in 18 years, while trout stamp costs have been steady for 33 years.    A new resident license for freshwater fishing will now be $32 and the trout stamp an additional $20. Other rates apply for non-residents.
