John Fiedler, 87, passed away last week in Chicago, Illinois. Born in May of 1938, he was a graduate of Kent State University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He had a 29-year career with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, holding numerous positions in sales, marketing, and manufacturing. His work included serving as the Executive Vice President of North America and the President of the Kelly Springfield Tire Company in Cumberland. His brother Lee Fiedler who also was a Kelly President and served as Cumberland’s Mayor preceded him in death.
