Frostburg State University has announced that eight vacant staff positions will be eliminated in its upcoming budget.  Eight staff members will also be laid off.  Frostburg’s operating budget will be reduced by approximately $900,000.  The university is striving to stabilize enrollment in order to avoid future budget slashing.
