Gas Dips Below $2 Mark

November 26th, 2025 by WCBC Radio

Gas Buddy that tracks national gas prices reported Tuesday the first of sub-$2 per gallon gas prices available without discounts or promotion, making them the lowest prices seen in the US since 2021. Several stations in the Midwest stood at $1.99 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline early Monday morning. Falling oil prices have eased pressure on consumers at the pumps. West Texas Intermediate crude oil recently traded near $58 per barrel, down sharply from prices earlier this year.
