The Gettysburg Film Festival runs this Thursday, through Sunday in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Numerous events will occur over the four days including documentaries, movies, and discussions. “This year is focusing on ‘Victory in World War II’ and it will feature some really great guests including former American Battle Trust board member Trace Adkins as well Ken Burns and Martin Sheen and Steven Lang who have appeared at previous years of the festival, and Susan Eisenhower will be there.”
Michaela Shaffer with Adams County Historical Society notes that a 101-year old veteran will make a special appearance on Thursday…
“World War 2 veteran, Jack Myers—he’s from Hagerstown, he will be joining us on Thursday evening to sing ‘God Bless America’ at our Thursday evening program.”
