Maryland Governor Wes Moore was recognized with the Louis E. Martin Great American Award from the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies.  The Joint Center focuses on policies affecting African Americans. In his acceptance speech, Moore took the opportunity to call out Trump policies that he says are intentionally hurting Black and Brown Americans…

   

“When you are having those policies, trust me, you are not just hurting some, you are hurting this nation. You are hurting our economy, you are hurting our propsects, you are hurting our competitiveness. You are hurting the thing that actually makes this country so unique. And your definition of making America great cannot be attacking one of the things that makes America great.”
