A grant from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development will go toward the development of a Housing Alliance, according to Mayor Ray Morriss. The city would act in tandem with other local groups to assist low-income families in learning about the home buying process…

   

“There’s a lot of low-income people, there’s a lot of housing out there that’s available for them, but they’re not sure of the mechanics of it. So, that’s part of that, working with local real estate agents and HRDC to educate people on housing and how to buy a home.”
