On May 4th, 2024 at approximately 7:28 pm officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 1000 block of West Industrial Boulevard for a subject who was allegedly under the influence and was operating a motor vehicle. Upon officer’s arrival they located Shawn Frye, and observed evidence of impairment. After the performance of Standardized Field Sobriety tests, further evidence of impairment was observed. Frye was placed under arrest and was later released pending his trial at District Court.
Arrest: Shawn Alan Frye, age 36, Cumberland Maryland.

On May 5th, 2024 at approximately 1:44 am an officer of the Cumberland Police Department observed a vehicle traveling on East Industrial Boulevard that had committed several traffic violations. A traffic stop was conducted and the operator, Noah Buzzard, was contacted. The officer observed evidence of impairment and after the performance of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, further evidence of impairment was observed. Buzzard was placed under arrest and later released pending his trial at District Court.
Arrest: Noah Joseph Buzzard, age 23, Cumberland Maryland.
