Cumberland Police Department, in conjunction with the Cumberland Fire Department, Allegany County Department of Emergency Services, Maryland State Police, Mass Transit Authority, Department of Natural Resources, The Allegany County Sheriff's Department, Mountain Maryland Search and Rescue, Chesapeake Search and Rescue, Mid Atlantic Search and Rescue, Maryland State Police Trooper 5, and  several other assisting agencies, has concluded the active ground search efforts for Jessica Roman.

Despite extensive search operations over multiple days involving numerous agencies and resources, Mrs. Roman has not been located. At this time, all coordinated ground search activities are being suspended pending the development of new information. The Cumberland Police Department will continue to actively investigate this case and pursue any leads or information received. We are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jessica Roman to contact the Cumberland Police Department at 301-777-1600.

The Department would like to extend its appreciation to the assisting agencies and members of the community who have provided support and information throughout this search effort. The Department is requesting that the community remains vigilant and reports any sightings or tips to the Cumberland Police Department at 301-777-1600. Up to a $1,500 reward is offered for information leading to the locating of Jessica Rowan.
