On Sunday, November 16, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the area of Lamont Street for the report of an individual attempting to drive a motor vehicle while under the influence. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the complainant and the suspect. Through the investigation, it was learned that an assault had occurred. Based on this information, Pamela Harper was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Allegany County Commissioner's Office for a bond hearing.
