The Allegany County Library System Board of Trustees has appointed current Interim Director Lisa McKenney to be the library’s next Executive Director.  The Trustees conducted an extensive search for the position, but said McKenney’s leadership and dedication as interim stood out, distinguishing her as the most qualified candidate, demonstrating the vision, commitment, and passion that the system needs. McKenney will officially begin her duties as Executive Director on November 3rd.
