On Monday, November 24th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a S. Mechanic St business for the report of a male subject who was refusing to pay his bill. When confronted by staff, the male began to assault staff inside the business. When officers arrived on scene, the male was found passed out on the floor. When officers contacted him, he began to assault officers. After a brief struggle, the male, Jason Dillon Roager, 31, of Cumberland MD, was placed under arrest. Roager was taken to the Central Booking unit at The Allegany County Detention Center where he is currently awaiting an Initial Appearance. 

ARRESTED -  Jason Dillon Roager, 31yo.
CHARGES -  Assault 2nd Degree x3, Resisting Arrest, Intoxicated Public Disturbance.
