On December 6, 2025 officers with the Cumberland Police Department responded to Baltimore Street at Mechanic Street for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The Cumberland Fire Department responded as well. Upon arrival to the scene, EMS crews began assisting the pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to UPMC for further evaluation.  This incident is under investigation by the Cumberland Police Department.
