In his executive order, Governor Wes Moore is making moves to make housing more affordable and available across the state. A housing shortage has been pointed to as a main reason business has been slow to move to the state and for residents moving out of state. The Governor said Maryland needs to explore all housing options and stop being the state of “no” and “slow”…

  

“Cut the red tape that is making it so challenging for people to build housing and quickly. It means things like taking a look at all federal land, and which there’s a lot – I’m sorry, all STATE land, there’s a lot that the state of Maryland owns in terms of land and look at how we can use that land for housing.”
