The anticipated opening date of the new location for Union Rescue Mission is on schedule, according to Pastor David Ziler. The mission is relocating to new facilities at the corner of Franklin and North Centre Streets in the former High Point Furniture Building. Ziler said the work to transform the building to housing, program space, and a primary care office is almost complete…

   

“We’re looking at middle of August to have our walk-through of the building with Belt Construction. And hopefully at that point, any punch-list items we need to knock out, we can knock out by September. And our target date has always been September of 2025 to do a grand opening so we’re still on target for that.”
