“What better person to salute, after 46 years of service, and also having been a Vietnam veteran, is to salute and honor Roger Lantz to be the Grand Marshal of this year’s Memorial Day Parade.”

Lantz, the long-time owner of M&M Bakery in downtown, recently retired. He said he was humbled by the honor given to him…

  

“Well. It just makes me feel good. I’ve done a lot of things. But the people, I did for the people. Even when I did the bake shop, I still did stuff for the people to make them feel good and most of them did and that makes me feel good.”
