On Monday, September 15th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Amber Nichole Jefferson, 34, of Ridgeley WV. Jefferson was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court for an incident that occurred on July 22nd, 2025. The warrant alleges Jefferson assaulted a male subject on that date and attempted to burglarize a residence in the 800 block of Patterson Ave. Jefferson was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance, where she was released on his own recognizance.

ARRESTED -  Amber Nichole Jefferson   34yo.
CHARGES -  Assault 2nd Degree, Attempted Burglary 4th Degree.
