Beginning in 2027, many people covered by Medicaid will need to comply with new work reporting requirements to get or retain Medicaid coverage.  Experts say 82,000 people in West Virginia could lose coverage.  Deborah Steinberg with Legal Action Center says there are many with undiagnosed disabling mental disorders that need the assistance…

   

"How can we get more people diagnosed? You know, one of the things would be to increase access to universal screening, making sure there are more opportunities for people to get screened for a mental health condition.  These strategies are so important everywhere, but especially in the rural areas that are going to be hit the hardest by the trillion dollars of cuts."
