The Pittsburgh Pirates announced Monday that they have extended the contract of manager Don Kelly into next year.  Kelly managed the Pirates after the firing of Derek Shelton early in the season.  The team went 59-65 under Kelly, posting a winning record at PNC Park.  The team has yet to make an announcement on the future of general manager Ben Cherington.
