The first hearing for Maryland’s Redistricting Advisory Commission is scheduled for Friday at 4pm. The public is encouraged to testify via Zoom or to submit testimony by email. Governor Moore is asking the commission to discover whether and how the state’s eight congressional districts could be redrawn to have what the governor calls “fair maps.”  Cumberland Mayor Ray Morriss is the lone Republican on the Governor’s commission.
