The City of Cumberland has opened it Roof Replacement Program. Funded by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, the program is designed to replace deteriorating roofs of single-family homes. Residential, owner-occupied housing assessed under $100,000 is eligible for the funding. Priority will be given to the disabled, elderly and veterans. Applications are available at City Hall in the lower level through Community Development.
