On Friday, May 9, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the area of Somerville Avenue for the report of a disturbance. Upon the Officer's arrival, they could observe the disturbance in progress. Several warnings were provided to the suspects to cease creating a disturbance. After one suspect, who was later identified as Arthur Brown, refused to stop yelling, he was placed under arrest. Brown was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center and taken before a District Court Commissioner. Brown was released on his own recognizance pending his trial at the Allegany District Court.

ARRESTED:  Arthur Lee Brown Jr.      AGE: 25           Mount Savage, Maryland
CHARGES:  Obstructing and Hindering, Disorderly Conduct, Failure to Obey Lawful Order.
