On Monday, June 16, 2025 at approximately 10:49 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Springdale Street for an assault in progress.  Upon arrival, officers contacted and separated the parties involved.  Officers learned that there had been a dispute about illegal fireworks being discharged in the neighborhood.  It was also reported by two alleged victims that they had been assaulted by Jaquan Albright.  Albright was placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking.  He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and posted a $2,500 unsecured personal bond.

CHARGES:  Assault-2nd Degree (x2), Reckless Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct, Discharge Fireworks without Permit
