Ten people have been indicted for contraband smuggling schemes at Jessup Correctional Institution. Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown said a comprehensive investigation found three female correctional officers were involved in different smuggling schemes along with seven inmates who were charged with contraband conspiracy and other charges. The schemes involved smuggling phones, drugs, and other contraband in exchange for money and luxury items.
