The Allegany County Animal Shelter is holding their annual Presents for Paws holiday donation event this Saturday, December 6th, between 1 and 3pm. The public is invited to see improvements made at the Furnace Street shelter, purchase items from the bake sale, and maybe even take home a friend. Blankets, beds and winter gear are specifically being requested for both cats and dogs, including wet and dry pet food, as well as grooming supplies or cleaning items and toys.
