On December 3rd, 2025 at approximately 12:31 p.m., a Cumberland police officer was conducting a foot patrol in the area of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. The officer observed an individual in a clearly posted "No Trespass" area. The officer identified the subject as Timothy Dale Ryan. Ryan was issued a citation and released from the scene, pending trial at District Court.
