According WBAL News out of Baltimore, the United States SBA is offering low-interest federal disaster loans to small businesses and non-profit organization due to the flooding in Western Maryland in May.

The disaster assistance declaration covers Allegany, Garrett and Washington counties, as we as jurisdictions in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

For more information, interested parties should contact SBA's customer service center at 800-659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.

This comes more than a week after the Trump administration denied a request for disaster assistance.
