US Senator Chris Van Hollen took a bus tour on Friday to survey the damages of the flooding in the Westernport and Georges Creek area. Van Hollen’s trip follows on the heels of Governor Moore who also visited last week along with Congresswoman April McClain Delaney. “We’re going to be working together with Westernport, with the other towns, to make sure that they get the help they need. We’ll of course be working with Governor Moore. What I just have to say is thank you to all of the local officials, and first responders, and emergency help that came in to help Western Maryland at this critical hour of need.”
