On July 13th, 2025 at approximately 11:03 p.m., officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 300 block of Frederick Street to assist the Allegany County Sheriff's Office with serving an interim protective order on Nathaniel Ray Wilson. After the order was served on Wilson, he received his copy and was advised not to return to the residence. At approximately 11:31 p.m., officers responded back to the residence and observed Wilson actively violating the interim protective order. He was placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking. Wilson was later presented in front of a District Court commissioner and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
