The Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall on frozen shrimp sold at Walmart.  The raw frozen shrimp is under the Great Value Brand with lot codes 8005538, 8005539, and 8005540. The FDA is investigating reports of Cesium-137 contamination found in one sample by Customs and Border Patrol agents. Cesium-137 is a radioactive isotope. Levels found would not pose an acute hazard to consumers and the recall is cautionary.
