On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Richard Lambert Jr for assault. Lambert was served with the summons and released pending his trial at District Court.

Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Sarah Peterson for failing to appear. Peterson was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center for her initial appearance, where she was released on an unsecured $5,000 bond.
