In West Virginia’s upcoming legislative session, the state’s governor is proposing a tax relief package with cuts and credits that complement the Trump Administration’s Big Beautiful Bill. Governor Patrick Morrisey is banking on continued higher-than-anticipated tax collections in the state to drive cuts in personal income tax and other tax credits.
