The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad No. 1309 Henry commemorative rifle, designed by The Gun Shop, is on display at the Western Maryland station in time for Railfest.  Wes Heinz, Director of WMSR, says the

 

“It’s a beautiful rifle, and we’re just flattered that somebody in our community saw a vision that we never would have seen and that we get to display it here at the station.”

Rob Fout from The Gun Shop says riding 1309 and participating in The Polar Express is what sparked the idea…

  

“All of the talk and all of the buzz that was surrounding 1309 at the time, it just really made sense for us to reach out to Henry.”
