At the Cumberland Mayor and City Council work session Tuesday evening, a very positive picture of the city was presented by Comptroller Mark Gandolfi. The city is looking at a surplus of $2.6 million for the proposed FY2024 budget. Mayor Ray Morriss was asked about the state of the city right now and was positive in response.
