Officers from the Cumberland Police Department are taking part in Cancer Awareness for the months of October and November. Officers participating submitted a donation to help raise funds that to be donated to the Schwab Family Cancer Center at UPMC Western Maryland. During the month of October, Officers displayed pink ribbons, bracelets and headbands to support cancer awareness. For the upcoming month of November, Officers will be allowed to grow facial hair, and some will wear different ribbons to support cancer awareness.
