Just after 9am, callers to WCBC radio indicated there was an accident on Route 36 between the Mountainview landfill and Midland. Police, Fire and Ambulance were on the scene which was verified by the Allegany County Sherrif's Department.
Reportedly, the mishap involved a single vehicle with entrapment, and the vehicle went off of the road and into the creek near Perry's Lane. The Maryland State Police Medevac also responded to the scene.
