ACPS Class of 2018 Grads Accepted to 55 Colleges, Universities, and Technical Schools

            The Allegany County Public School System is proud to announce that students in the graduating Class of 2018 have been accepted to 55 different colleges, universities, and technical schools across the country.  Of the 626 graduates, 300 of them have chosen to continue their studies locally at either Allegany College of Maryland or Frostburg State University.  In addition, 337 graduates were offered a total of $13,530,306 in merit, athletic, academic and senatorial scholarships. 

            The list of colleges, universities, and technical schools graduates of the Class of 2018 will be attending in the fall is as follows: Alderson-Broaddus College, Allegany College of Maryland, Appalachian Bible College

Bowdoin College, CCBC Essex, Coastal Carolina University, College of Charleston, Davis and Elkins College, Eastern Gateway Community College, Florida State University, Frostburg State University, Full Sail University, Furman University, Garrett Community College, Gaston College, George Washington University, Hagerstown Community College, Hood College, Johnson and Wales University, La Roche College, Lycoming College, Marietta College, McDaniel College, MIT, Mount Aloysius College, New Life Bible College, Notre Dame of Maryland, Penn State University, Performance Training Solution, Point Park University, Potomac State College, Ringling College of Art and Design, Salisbury University, San Diego Community College, Seton Hill University, Shenandoah University, St. Francis College, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Stevenson University, SUNY, Temple Beauty School, Towson University, UMBC, UMD Eastern Shore, Universal Tech Institute, University of Maryland College Park, University of North Carolina Asheville, University of Pittsburgh, University of Texas, Valencia College, Virginia Polytechnic Institute, West Liberty University, West Virginia University, West Virginia Wesleyan College, and Widener University.
